EADS Names Enders As New CEO, Lagardère As Chairman

The European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co. (EADS) yesterday confirmed senior management changes, naming Thomas Enders as CEO and Arnaud Lagardère as chairman at its annual general meeting. Enders, who previously headed EADS’ commercial aircraft division Airbus, succeeds Louis Gallois as CEO. Lagardère also heads his own media firm Lagardère SCA, which is the largest French private stockholder in EADS. Lagardère succeeds Bodo Uebber, who remains on the company’s board.
