After having recently rolled out major initiatives to rapidly boost production of Patriot interceptors and solid rocket motors, the Pentagon’s acquisition chief on Tuesday teased that additional efforts along those lines may be announced “in the coming days.”  “The future of the defense industry will achieve the velocity and size needed by employing commercial models that have made America the economic envy of the world.
