DRS Technologies, the United States subsidiary of Italy's Finmeccanica, has agreed to acquire Soneticom, Inc., a provider of custom and semi-custom high- technology communications products and systems for customers in government and commercial markets. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close this year, subject to regulatory approvals, including review by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
