DoD Strategic Capital Office Wants Feedback From Lenders, Companies On Loan Program

The Defense Department’s new Office of Strategic Capital (OSC) on Wednesday issued two Requests for Information (RFI) to financial institutions and companies seeking feedback related to a loan program being developed to support investments in critical technologies and supply chains. The fiscal year 2024 National Defense Authorization Act authorizes OSC to provide loans, loan guarantees, or technical assistance related to investments in 31 covered technology categories, which include things like advanced manufacturing and advanced bulk materials such as composites, autonomous…
