DoD Review Of Sentinel Finds Further Cost Increases, Schedule Delays; Program To Be Restructured

The Air Force’s next-generation ICBM will continue but will be restructured amid further cost increases and schedule delays and the decision in 2020 to initiate the engineering and manufacturing development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel program has been rescinded, the Defense Department said on Monday.
