DoD Industrial Base Nominee Would Prioritize Munitions Production

Munitions production is at the top of his priority list, the nominee to lead the Defense Department’s industrial base efforts told a Senate panel on Tuesday. One key to bolstering munitions production is “predictable and stable defense budget and program spend,” Michael Cadenazzi told the Senate Armed Services Committee during his confirmation hearing to be assistant secretary of defense for industrial base policy.
