The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO) has issued a Request for Information to determine capabilities for closing gaps in the maritime pathways architecture for detecting nuclear weapons and radiological materials under the Securing the Cities (STC) program in New York City. Using the STC Initiative as an early phased deployment for the Port of New York/New Jersey, DNDO and regional partners have been developing analytically-based detection architectures specific to that port.
