DIU Sheds More Light On Recent sUSV Awards

The Navy and Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) are reviewing several prototype small unmanned surface vehicles (sUSVs) for the potential to quickly scale production of the systems in support of the Defense Department’s Replicator Initiative, DIU said on Monday. DIU and the Navy recently selected three companies, which have not been named, under the Production-Ready, Inexpensive, Maritime Expeditionary (PRIME) program, DIU Director Doug Beck said last week (Defense Daily, Aug. 8).
