DHS Issues RFI For Block 3 of Einstein Cyber Intrusion Detection System

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Wednesday released a Request for Information (RFI) from industry for an intrusion prevention service as part of the department's National Cybersecurity and Protection System (NCPS), better known as Einstein. The RFI for Block 3.0 of Einstein is classified although interested parties can obtain it with the appropriate security clearances at http://www.dhscyber.net. In general, though, DHS says the RFI is "seeking information on prospective technical, end-to-end solutions for protecting the federal '.gov' cyber domain."…
