DHS, FBI Still Can’t Verify Alleged Drone Sightings In New Jersey

A bevy of reports in recent weeks about sightings of unmanned aircraft in Northern New Jersey, including over an Army installation, remain unverified despite more personnel, technology, and “numerous detection methods” being deployed to understand what is going on in the local airspace, the Department of Homeland Security and FBI said on Thursday. “We have no evidence at this time that the reported drone sightings pose a national security or public safety threat or have a foreign nexus,” the agencies…
