Data Device Acquires Microelectronics Business

The private equity firm Behrman Capital on Tuesday said its portfolio company Data Device Corporation (DDC) has agreed to acquire the Microelectronics Business of Maxwell Technologies [MXWL] for $21 million in cash.Behrman said that the acquisition is complementary to DDC’s existing space solutions capabilities.DDC designs and manufactures connectivity, power and control solutions for aerospace, defense and industrial applications.
