Curtiss-Wright Acquires Firm With Motion Control Products

Curtiss-Wright [CW] last week said it has acquired Predator Systems Inc. (PSI) for $13.3 million, expanding its capabilities in motion controls for ground defense, ordnance guidance and aerospace applications. PSI provides Curtiss-Wright with expanded capabilities by adding hydraulic actuation, smart manifolds, which have embedded electronics, hydraulic motors and other flow control technologies such as dampers, hydraulic fuses and mass meters.
