COSCON Logistics, a subsidiary of China's COSCO Group, has selected Lockheed Martin's [LMT] Savi Networks to provide a GPS-based sensor network to provide real-time visibility of cargo shipments. The program is the first large-scale commercial GPS-based tracking system launched so far in China. Savi will provide sensors that are attached to COSCON shipping containers.
