TSA Awards Trinity $21M for Screening Services at Florida Airport

Trinity Technology Group won a $21.1 million contract from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to provide private screening services at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport in Florida. Sarasota Braden is a new airport in TSA’s Screening Partnership Program, which allows airports to opt out of using federal screeners in place of private ones. The award is a small business set aside.

Desko, IER, NCR Nab Boarding Pass Scanner Contracts with TSA

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has awarded contracts to Desko, LLC, IER, Inc., and NCR Corp. for Board Pass Scanners (BPS). Desko received $4 million, IER $4.1 million, and NCR $3.6 million for the BPS systems, with are used to scan airline electronic and paper boarding passes. The scanners will also validate and display vetting results and flight and passenger information, lessening the need for Transportation Security Officers to visually inspect boarding passes to verify passenger vetting status.

TSA Plans $12M Contract to SRA to Continue Support for Two SOCs

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) plans to award a potential $11.6 million contract bridge to SRA International for continued support and uninterrupted services of the agency’s Security Operations Center (SOC) and Classified SOC. The award has a four-month base period, three one-month options, and one three-month transition period to allow incumbent SRA to transition to the Computer Network Defense (CND) contract awardee for information technology security services and computer security services utilizing SOCs. Award of the recompeted CND contract has been delayed.

TSA to Award InfoZen $12M Contract Bridge to Support Intel Office

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) plans to award InfoZen a nine-month, $11.7 million interim bridge contract to provide operations and maintenance services for related to a broad range of transportation vetting programs in support of the agency’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis. The bridge contract has a base period of 100 days and one six-month option. The contract will be in effect beginning Dec. 16.
