Cobham Names BAE Exec New CEO

Britain’s Cobham yesterday said that it has appointed Bob Murphy, who is currently an executive with Britain’s BAE Systems, as its new CEO effective June 22. Murphy has spent more than 25 years in the civil, commercial and defense sectors of the aerospace and defense industry and is currently executive vice president responsible for global operations of BAE’s Product Sectors business, which has annual sales of $10 billion and 25,000 employees.
