Coast Guard Awards Small Rad Maintenance Awards

The Coast Guard has awarded contracts to Thermo Fisher Scientific [TMO] and Sensor Technology Engineering, Inc., for preventative and remedial maintenance of the service's radiation detection equipment. An award up to $995,000 is planned to Thermo for maintenance of all IdentiFINDER-U Radioisotope Identification Devices being used by all Coast Guard units. Sensor Technology Engineering's award is for up to $650,000 for maintenance of all Radiation Detection Backpacks belonging to the Coast Guard. The award has a one-year base period and…
