The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking support services for its Security Operations Center (SOC), thereby allowing the department to accomplish the mission to monitor, detect, analyze, mitigate, and response to cyber threats and adversarial activity on the DHS enterprise. DHS plans to award a single award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract worth up to $395 million over seven years. Army Seeks Wireless Solution for CBRN Sensors

The Army Joint Program Manager for Nuclear Biological Chemical Contamination Avoidance (NBCCA) has issued a Request for Information related to wireless solutions to link chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear sensors. The office has network requirements that need refinement in order to develop performance specifications that will result in a product suitable for deployment in tactical environments worldwide. The JPM NBCCA is researching options from both government and industry that will result in a solution to enable CBRN detectors to be networkable wirelessly and to connect to wireless alarms. FAA Conducting Market Survey to Resolve ULAD IT Security Vulnerabilities

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is conducting a market survey for contractor support to resolve the Ultra-Light Aircraft Detection (ULAD) system information technology (IT) security vulnerabilities and to demonstrate the capability of the ULAD system in a maritime environment with the primary mission of detecting and tracking surface target of interest, similar to but not identical to the mission of the Maritime Detection program. The maritime environment testing will focus on deploying two ULAD units in a maritime environment, conducting runs for the record and collecting radar data against both targets of opportunity and designated GPS instrumented surface targets of varying sizes and speeds. The FAA Logistics Center will serve as an independent government entity providing engineering, technical and logistics services to support CBP in the areas of integrated logistics support, management consulting, primary inventory control point, provisioning and repair of Customs and Border Protection equipment. GSA Assisting DoD on Acquisition of Quick Reaction Capabilities

The General Services Administration (TSA) has issued a pre-solicitation in support of the Defense Department for a multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract providing the department with support for the development of quick reaction capabilities (QRC) through demonstrations, user concept of operations, technical assessments, and new system development that will support near-term and long-term operational requirements. The projects ill focus on the following areas: technical collection and analysis; manned and unmanned aerial systems engineering and integration, and test and evaluation; studies, modeling and simulation, and technical support; forensics, biometrics, and signature support; cyber technologies, cyber operations, information operations, data, and C4 knowledge management; logistics support; training support; and infrastructure services support. TSA Issues RFI for Universal Enrollment Services

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Office of Intelligence and Analysis has issued a Request for Information (RFI) regarding enrollment services capabilities for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs and initiatives. DHS programs requiring enrollment services include the Hazardous Materials Endorsement Threat Assessment Program, the Transportation Worker Identification Credential, the TSA PreCheck Application, and several aviation sector threat assessment programs such as Alien Flight Student, Aviation Workers, General Aviation and Air Cargo.
