Bush Budget Seeks $74 Million In Fiscal 2009 To Replace NPOESS Sensors

By Dave Ahearn President Bush will add $74 million to his fiscal 2009 budget plan to help place sensors on future satellites that were removed in 2006 from the planned National Polar-orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS) satellites, according to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP).
