Budget Turmoil Could Force Delay On QDR, Admiral Says

The Pentagon likely won’t be able to begin the congressionally mandated quadrennial defense review (QDR) because of the fiscal uncertainty stemming from the budget turmoil on Capitol Hill, a senior Navy officer said yesterday. “With the uncertainty of the budget situation, I think that will keep us from getting a QDR started in the near term,” Vice Adm.
