Evolv Technology says its Evolv Edge walk-by people screener has been deployed by a major U.S. international airport to improve employee screening, showing a dramatic improvement over walk-through metal detectors and X-Ray parcel scanners. The company says the airport’s security team believes it has a “strengthened security posture with added multi-threat detection” and employees find it less burdensome and less invasive. The system passively detects explosives, firearms and other weapons concealed on an individual.
