BAE Systems Receives Task Order For JIEDDO Training

BAE Systems yesterday said it received a new $60 million task order to provide training to the Defense Department’s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO). The company will develop and implement a five-year training curriculum for the agency to teach innovative methods for identifying and disabling IEDs. The task order is part of BAE's role as one of several prime contractors--among them SAIC [SAI], Lockheed Martin [LMT] and Sotera Defense--supporting JIEDDO under an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract awarded…
