BAE Sells Small UAS Firm

A newly formed small company in Arizona has acquired a small business from Britain’s BAE Systems that it had purchased in 2009 to complement its offerings in unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). Sensintel, Inc., acquired the Tucson-based company that makes small UAS such as the SILVER FOX system used by the Marine Corps and the MANTA and COYOTE systems. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
