The U.S. Army plans to release a Request for Proposals (RFP) in mid-March for the Jordan JC4ISR Fiber Optic Wide Area Network Program.
The RFP will be issued about March 16 by the U.S. Army Contracting Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. A firm-fixed price contract award is expected for a period of 12 months with a 12-month transferable warranty.
The acquisition would include such things as supplying spares, field installation, integration testing, training, and integrated logistics support for the fielded system in support of the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF).
The purpose of this acquisition will be to assist the Jordanians in their efforts to build on the success of the Accelerated Communications Upgrade program by further upgrading the Royal Jordanian Air Force’s existing C3 infrastructure.
The official RFP release will be posted on the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
There will be no additional information available before the RFP is released.
The on-line RFP will include all documents of the solicitation package, and there will be no hard copy. Any amendments will be posted at the same location as the RFP.
