Army Acquisition Chief Nom Supports Having ‘Right To Repair’ For All Capabilities

The nominee to serve as the Army’s next acquisition chief told lawmakers on Thursday he supports having “right to repair” language written into all all the service’s equipment contracts. “We need right to repair on every capability. And so, ensuring we get the right data rights  and intellectual property [considerations] written in the contract up front is absolutely critical,” Brent Ingraham, nominee to be assistant secretary of the Army for acquisition, logistics and technology (ASA (ALT)), said during his confirmation…
