Appropriators Back Away From F-22 Support As Two Battles Begin

By Emelie Rutherford Lead defense appropriators continued to distance themselves from supporting extended production of the F-22 fighter jet yesterday, as House-Senate negotiators prepared to battle over funding for the aircraft in the Pentagon policy bill.
