Annual Naval Submarine League Symposium Canceled

The Naval Submarine League (NSL) canceled its annual symposium because many of the military personnel and civilian government employees key to the event cannot attend due to the ongoing government shutdown. The event was due to occur on Nov. 12 and 13. While the symposium is not one of the largest Washington, D.C., area military conferences, it has been a notable venue for Navy submarine commanders and officers in charge of some new construction programs to communicate with industry and…
