Air Force Issues RFI for PBIED Detection

The Air Force has issued a Request for Information (RFI) related to the detection of Person-Borne Improvised Explosive Devices (PBIEDs) from standoff ranges. At a minimum the service wants systems that can detect explosives and metallic objects, with preferences for non-metallic objects as well and automatic detection, and easily portable. Sol.
