Air Force Awards Beechcraft $210 Million For T-6 Training Aircraft

Beechcraft said on Monday it was awarded a $210 million Air Force contract for the production of 35 T-6 training aircraft with an option for two additional aircraft. The contract, part of the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) program launched in the late 1990s, specifies 33 T-6s for the Navy and two for the Army.
