A-TEK Gets $58M to Support BioWatch

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded a 52-month, $57.5 million contract to A-TEK, Inc., to provide direct laboratory staffing services to DHS' BioWatch program. Under the contract A-TEK will provide 133 support staff positions in 19 states. A-TEK, which is based in Northern Virginia, says it has provided similar services to DHS in the past but now will be provided those services directly.
