York Space Systems Completes Tranche 2 Design Review Ahead Of Plan

York Space Systems successfully completed the preliminary design review (PDR) one month ahead of schedule for the communication satellite system it is developing as part of the Space Development Agency’s (SDA) proliferated architecture in space for missile warning, tracking, and all domain command and control. The follow-on critical design review for York’s Tranche 2 Transport Layer (T2TL) Gamma spacecraft is slated for September. Launch is currently planned early in the third quarter of 2027.
