TSA Initiating Qualification Process to Support Checkpoint CT The Transportation Security Administration is establishing a Checkpoint Property Screening System (CPSS) qualification process for checkpoint computed tomography (CT) systems. The agency says that the CT systems are “the most impactful technology available to address the rapidly-evolving threats in airports checkpoints.” TSA will evolve the CT technology to meet its mission by continuing to work within the trade space established by the thresholds and objectives defined in the Accessible Property Screening System…
