The Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said it notified Congress of a potential foreign military sale (FMS) to Thailand of six UH-72A Lakota helicopters and associated parts and support worth an estimated $77 million.

The deal would also include technical documentation, an Aviation Mission Planning Station, personnel training and training equipment.

The principal contractor would be EADS North America, a division of European Aeronautic Defense and Space Co.

The deal is contingent on Congress’ approval.
