Stable Funding Needed Now Acquisition Programs, Papp Says

The Coast Guard has made significant progress in strengthening its acquisition processes and in acquiring new assets to recapitalize its aging cutters and aircraft but the key to preserving these efforts is adequate funding going forward, Coast Guard Commandant Adm.
