The Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) plans to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) later this month or in early October for the Cyber Warfare Support procurement, which will be worth up to $249.8 million over five years. Multiple awards are expected and the contract will support all departments across the SPAWAR Center, Pacific, in developing capabilities to support cyber warfare. Services that will be procured include research, investigation, engineering, development, integration, test and evaluation of emerging technologies, sensors and systems with potential for applicability in the areas of air, ground and shipboard C4ISR and IO system technologies.
