Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) on Tuesday at 4:10 p.m. EDT successfully launched its sixth Cargo Resupply Services (CRS-6) mission for NASA from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.

Launch took place one day after the launch was scrubbed due to weather. Launch on Tuesday took place with 60 percent chance of favorable weather. SpaceX also failed to land its first stage on its movable floating drone spaceport. Company founder Elon Musk said on Twitter the rocket landed too hard on the droneship for survival. Musk said the odds of a successful rocket landing are still less than 50 percent. He said the previously stated 80 percent chance by end of the year is only because many launches are ahead.
