SpaceWERX Announces Winners For Sustained Maneuver Challenge

The Space Force’s innovation arm last week said it has awarded contracts to 10 companies worth a combined $19 million under its Sustained Space Maneuver (SSM) Challenge that will lead to demonstration prototypes. Each company received $1.9 million direct to Phase II Small Business Innovation Research contracts aimed at improving the Space Force’s ability to sustain operations in war during a conflict.
