Sierra Nevada Completes SpaceDev Acquisition

Sierra Nevada Corp. (SNC) yesterday said it has completed its acquisition of SpaceDev, allowing it to form an integrated space technologies business unit. SNC, when it first announced the deal in October, said the purchase will allow it to increase its capacity and scalability in the space technology sector (Defense Daily, Oct. 22). SNC now offers satellite systems, propulsion systems, space vehicle systems and a range of subsystems and components to defense, civil government and corporate customers.
