Saudi Arabia Wants To Spend $33 Million On Humvees

Saudi Arabia would like to spend some $33 million on High Mobility Multi-Purpose Wheeled Vehicles (Humvees), the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) notified Congress Oct. 26. The prime contractor would be AM General. There are no known offset agreements proposed in connection with this potential sale. Saudi Arabia requested the potential sale of 124 M1151A1-B1 Up-Armored Humvees and 99 M1152A1-B2 Up-Armored Humvees, with supplemental armor kits, spare and repair parts, support and test equipment.
