Safran Appoints Chief of New MorphoTrust Unit

France's Safran Group recently said that Robert Eckel will be CEO of MorphoTrust USA, a new business unit created through the recent acquisition of the former L-1 Identity Solutions. Eckel joined L-1 in 2008 when it acquired Digimarc's [DMRC] Identity Systems business, which gave L-1 the lion's share of the drivers' license card production for states.
