Saab Wins $132 Million Contract For Airborne Early Warning And Control (AEW&C)

The Sweden-based Saab AB received an order within the Airborne Early Warning and Controls (AEW&C) segment worth about $132 million from an undisclosed customer, the company said Monday.The AEW&C system provides access to a detailed situational awareness that can be used for border surveillance, search and rescue operations, and confronting terrorism and organized crime threats.The contract’s effectiveness is subject to fulfillment of certain financial conditions, Saab said.The work is set to occur within two Saab business areas: surveillance as well…
