Raytheon Delivers SUV-based Rad Detection System to DNDO

As part of its contract to develop and build Advanced Spectroscopic Portals (ASP), Raytheon [RTN] has delivered a sports utility vehicle (SUV)-based radiation detection system to the Department of Homeland Security's Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO). The order for the SUV-based next-generation spectroscopic system was issued last September for $5.9 million, DNDO tells TR2.
