Professional Services Firm SM&A Acquires Black Ram Engineering

The professional services firm SM&A has acquired the defense firm Black Ram Engineering Services, boosting its program services offerings. Terms of the deal, which closed in late August, were not disclosed. Black Ram, which is based in Washington, provides engineering services for land, sea and air defense platforms. Its customers include large defense prime contractors and commercial aerospace companies. Black Ram's expertise is in systems engineering, design, analysis, test and sustainment engineering capabilities, and in the unmanned aerial vehicle market.…
