WTI Joins CertTech, Extends Strategic, End-to-End Test Engineering Capabilities

CertTech and WTI help organizations achieve better product quality and meet rigorous regulations with flexible, scalable automated test solutions and simulated test environments

PR Newswire

SAGINAW, Mich., March 31, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — WTI (formerly Wineman Technology, Inc.), a leader in custom test system development, today announced the company has been acquired by CertTech, an expert in mission-critical and safety applications, to further extend end-to-end test capabilities and regulatory compliance for clients worldwide. With this acquisition, CertTech/WTI can more comprehensively serve leading Fortune 500 companies and prime contractors in evolving industries such as automotive, off-highway, rail, space, aerospace, defense, and medical devices.

New products, new test architecture, new regulations: New success.
Product development and regulatory compliance is dependent upon early and continuous testing. With automated test systems and simulated, real-world environments engineers can uncover product performance details early in the development process, saving significant resources.

The addition of WTI compliments CertTech’s core capabilities in electronics and software test systems with WTI’s deep expertise in electromechanical test cell applications, including hydraulic fluid power and dynamometer/rotating equipment applications, with a focus on hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations. From requirements planning and test strategy to MIL, SIL, and HIL, to regulatory compliance and maintenance and support, CertTech provides complete support throughout the entire lifecycle.

“Joining CertTech is a natural fit for WTI and our clients. Together, we’re better able to help engineering organizations gain a competitive advantage,” said Matt Eurich, President of WTI. “Merging our highly complementary capabilities helps us to better serve clients in strategically planning test initiatives, getting critical insights from electrical and mechanical test data, and carrying test programs through to meet critical regulations and/or time-to-market goals.”

Get the most out of industry-leading hardware with key partnerships
Both CertTech and WTI have strong, existing relationships with key instrumentation companies such as National Instruments and Keysight. With access to trusted technology, CertTech/WTI can provide world-class solutions specifically customized to the demands of your application. Both companies are NI Gold Alliance Partners and WTI brings clients the expertise of an NI HIL Specialty Partner.

CertTech will continue to grow their national footprint with current locations in Lenexa, Kansas; Albuquerque, NM; Saginaw, Michigan; Clarkston, MI; Raleigh, NC; Boulder, CO; Seattle, WA; and Washington, D.C. which provide the firm with the ability to leverage skillsets across the combined organization to better serve clients throughout the US.
