BERWYN, Pa., Feb. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — AMETEK, Inc. (NYSE: AME) today announced that its Board of Directors has elected Thomas J. Matway as Vice President and General Manager, Specialty Metal Products Division.

Mr. Matway has been Division Vice President, Sales and Marketing for Specialty Metal Products since joining AMETEK in 2016. Previously, Tom served as Vice President and General Manager of the Precision Strip and Specialty Coiled Products business at Allegheny Technologies (ATI). Prior to that, Tom held roles of increasing responsibility at Alcoa, both in the U.S. and abroad.

Mr. Matway holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
