SPA Awarded $20M Office of Naval Research Contract

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 4, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA), was awarded a 5-year, $20M prime contract by the Office of Naval Research (ONR).  This is a follow-on contract to work that SPA has provided for the past five years.

The contract requires SPA to provide technical and operational analysis, modeling and simulation, and technology transition planning and management to the Submarine Security Program for Office of the Chief of Naval Operations Undersea Warfare Division and Office of Naval Research Sea Warfare and Weapons, and its stakeholder organizations including Naval Sea Systems Command, The Naval Research Laboratory, among others.

The SPA team has well-established capabilities to support this critical program and has provided support services to ONR in a variety of areas for many years. “SPA has been honored to serve and support the ONR for over 10 years,” said Mr. Edward Wright, Undersea Warfare and Systems Division Director. “We are humbled and grateful to be able to continue our work supporting the Navy’s Submarine Security requirements.”
