Cubic to Present on the Importance of Shared Mobility at MaaS Market 2019

Cubic Transportation Systems to discuss how a foundation of trust amongst users is critical to establishing solutions for shared mobility

PR Newswire

SAN DIEGO, March 19, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced its Director of Strategy for its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division, Crissy Ditmore will present at the fourth annual MaaS Market, Optimizing Multi-Modal Mobility in London, U.K. from March 20–21. Organized by ITS International, MaaS Market brings together thought leaders to explore the changing transportation landscape and Mobility as a Service, as governments and communities look for new ways to deal with transportation crises in urban and rural areas.

“If tomorrow we had all the answers for the future of mobility, and the technology needed for fully automated vehicles, we still lack a foundation of trust among users to share occupancy,” said Ditmore. “Without a solution for enabling trusted shared mobility, we are creating policies and technologies that will promote less sharing and create an unsustainable future. Just as emotional intelligence must supplant artificial intelligence, human preferences must supplant technological advancement for mobility practices.”

Ditmore will present at the following sessions taking place at the Inmarsat Conference Center:

  • Session 4 – Hearts and Minds: A Transportation Step-Change
    • “Trust and Sharing Transport”
    • Date/Time: Wednesday, March 20 at 3:05 p.m. (local time)
  • Session 10 – Closing Round Table
    • “Getting started, Changing Mindsets and Developing Standards”
    • Date/Time: Thursday, March 21 at 3:30 p.m. (local time)

As part of the CTS Strategy team, Ditmore works on the expansion of Mobility as a Service across the globe. With over 12 years of experience in the mobility industry, she continues to assist urban, suburban and rural development of sustainable futures for complex mobility needs.
