Premier Army Security Cooperation Program Under Way In Pacific Region

The Army’s effort to improve partner capability and capacity continues as the week-long Pacific Armies Management Seminar (PAMS) kicked off yesterday in Australia. PAMS is the Asia-Pacific regions longest running military seminar series and U.S. Army Pacific’s (USARPAC) premier Army Security Cooperation Program (ASCP). USARPAC co-hosts PAMS with a regional Pacific partner; this year the Australia Army is co-hosting the July 16-20 PAMS XXXVI in Canberra where 27 nations are expected to attend.
