Pentagon Solicits for Passive RFID for Logistics Tracking

The Pentagon has issued a solicitation for a commercial Passive Radio Frequency Identification (pRFID) Electronic Product Code (EPC) global, Class 1, Generation 2 compliant products and services to support DoD, Coast Guard, authorized federal agencies, NATO, coalition partners and other foreign military sales worldwide. The pRFID system would provide a common integrated structure for logistics tracking, locating, and monitoring of assets for users.
