The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has exercised a near one-year option with GeoEye [GEOY] to provide satellite imagery, according to a document filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The arrangement adds an 11-month period under the EnhancedView Service Leval Agreement that entered into force on Aug. 6, 2010.
The new period begins Wednesday and runs until Aug. 21, 2012. There are an additional eight one-year renewal options under the current, 10-year deal. The work will be done by the firm’s GeoEye Imagery Collections Systems subsidiary.
