Next Generation OPIR Polar Program Completes Critical Design Review For Ground Segment

Several months after successfully completing a critical design review (CDR) for a satellite system that will monitor the northern hemisphere for emerging and advanced missile threats, U.S. Space Systems Command (SSC) last week said the ground portion of the program completed a similar review. In addition, aspects of the ground system, called Future Operational Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) successfully completed a critical integration review (CIR), SSC said.
